Discover the Canarian island of Tenerife any time of the year as the sun is forever shining and there are countless activities to keep the whole family entertained, from waterparks to beautiful beaches, Tenerife is perfect for any type of holiday not to mention the amazing food and friendly locals, you’ll fall in love for sure.

Where in Tenerife is best to visit?

This solely depends on what you want out of your holiday, Las Americas is where I usually stay and it is full of things to do, its usually the warmest place in Tenerife and most popular for Gen Z or younger. It is filled with hotels offering inclusive holidays and kids parks and is a hot spot for shopping too. Veronicas strip is also located within Las Americas which makes it ideal for Gen Z. The Safari Mall is also located here in which is home to many stores and food outlets, this is also where the magic light fountain show is each night at 9 and 10pm.

Where to Stay?

1.     Parque Santiago 3 –  in the heart of Las Americas it is close to everything you’d ever need, it is a large complex home to many apartments and villas overlooking the beach, it also has restaurants, bars, its own shopping mall, and a kids waterpark… everything you’d want and more – ideal for families.

2.     Cleopatra Hotel – Situated in Las Americas, This is an ideal location and perfect for Gen Z, the hotel is located directly behind the Hard Rock CafĂ© and is right in the center also, right beside the beach it is ideal for those sun lovers or the hotels poolside is also beautiful! This is a sister hotel so it means you can gain access to the Mare Nostrum Hotel too which is right beside, so you’ll never go without a sun lounger!

3.     Hard Rock Hotel – Located within Costa Adeje this is much further out but is a luxurious beachfront hotel featuring 3 swimming pools, a saltwater lagoon, and a hotel spa. This is better suited for older couples as it's further out from nightlife etc but very modern and everything you would need would be located inside the hotel, shuttle buses are available which gives you the option to come into Las Americas.

Things to do?

1.     Siam Mall – Home to over 70 stores ranging from fashion to leisure you could spend a whole day here, from shopping in Zara to lunching in the food court they have options for everyone, free buses are available from las America’s.

2.     Siam Park – Known worldwide as one of the best waterparks in the world this is a must-do when visiting Tenerife, VIP cabanas are also available which I highly recommend, they included unlimited queue skips and unlimited food and this also allows you to have your own space to leave your things, a hot tub, bathroom, charging facilities and much more.

3.      Kaluna Beach Club - A luxurious beach club offering live music, unlimited drink, and a rooftop pool... what more could you want! Kaluna is perfect for a day out with friends or in a couple, you pay a deposit for the bed and the rest is used towards food and drink, Tenerife's answer to ocean beach!
